As always it has been an eventful month with lots of travel and great training! After US Nationals I spent a few days on the East Coast with my family before heading back to Park City. I wasn't in Park City for long, however it was a nice refresh to sleep in my own bed and have some time to train on US soil. After about a week of training in Park City our team headed to Steamboat for an Oktoberfest themed fundraiser! It was an awesome event and great to see how much support my hometown community has for Nordic Combined. Our team also had some time to go on a few workouts in beautiful Fall weather, below is a picture of Ben Loomis and myself on a run! We joined the SSWSC as guest coaches for their last days of summer jumping as well, awesome to see how many young athletes are in the program and pumped to be out ski jumping!

After a short visit to Steamboat my team and I traveled to Oberstdorf, GER for our final training camp of the Fall. It was a fast paced two week camp with two sessions almost everyday. I was able to have a very productive training camp on the jump hill, making some much needed improvements I have been looking for! The endurance side of the camp was very productive as well, we spent a lot of time on the roller ski course in town doing intervals and time trials. I always love training in Oberstdorf as it is a stunning valley and the training facilities are top of the line. Check out some photos below of our time in Oberstdorf, GER!
After a very productive camp in Europe we were all ready for some rest and recovery at home! I spent a few days in Steamboat and then made my way to Park City to start the month of November! I have been in Park City since then spending some needed time in my own bed with everything unpacked! Recovery and training has been progressing well and we are now in the time of year that my team and I pray for snow every night. We were able to break out the cross country skis and get on snow a few days ago! As of now I will be either remain in Park City to train if we have enough snow, if not I will be making a short trip to West Yellowstone with some teammates for cross country skiing on snow! On Nov 26th I fly to Lillehammer, NOR for my first competition of the season. It is a World Cup event and I will be joining the Fletcher brothers along with Ben Berend for that event, I am very excited! After that I will then travel back to the US where I will be prepping for my next competition which is in Steamboat the weekend of Dec. 15-17. I am super pumped to have a international competition in Steamboat!! I will start to update more throughout the season so stay tuned on how the next few weeks unfold!
