First of all sorry for the extreme gap since my last update, an immense amount has happened. I have done our end of season endurance testing, a hard but fun test. I then headed back to Steamboat for some more time at home, as always it is great to get some time with my family and spend some time in Steamboat. I also made a trip to Texas to participate in the MS 150 bike ride with one of our team sponsors. It was my first 100mi ride but still very fun. I had a flat tire problem on the second day and chose to catch up to the group with a little help from our chase van. Check out the video below!
After our bike trip I then joined my family for a little vacation in Florida, it was very fun to get a little beach time and more time with the family. After that I headed back to Park City where I am now! As soon as I got back I was busy as I was moving out in the next week. I made the decision this spring that as much as I love the household I was living in I needed to save some money in my living expenses. I decided that finding a month to month type of place that I can move out of when I travel to Europe (so that I am not paying for an empty room) would save me a tremendous amount of money. At first I didn't have a place lined up so I headed to a friends house until I did. About two days after I moved to my friends I ended up finding the perfect condo directly below the Ski Jumps here in Park City. Now that I have my living situation figured out I am now finding more time to work on Nordic Combined! We are now back into our training season so there will be more to come! I will start updating my website on a more regular basis but not quite as frequently as the winter! As always thanks for following along!
