Training Camp & Sponsor Ride in NY

Last week my team and I traveled to NY for a training camp that was integrated with a team sponsor Basin Holdings. The first day we participated in The Ride to Conquer Cancer, a 65mi ride. It was very fun to ride this with the whole team and the Basin group. It was very cool to do some Road Riding on the east coast as I have always wanted to but had not yet gotten the chance to. The next day we rode 65 miles up to Basin CEO John Fitzgibbons farm outside of Westchester, NY where we spent the afternoon exploring his property and spending some time with our entire crew. The crew consisted of the Nordic Combined team and Bill Demong who organized this trip with us. Then Basin Holdings had about 8 guys that rode with us! The next day we rode from the farm down to John's house in Watch Hill, RI. We ended up riding about 75mi that day with a van ride in the middle to avoid a big city. The next day we did a ride up to Newport, RI where we ate lunch and then drove back to Watch Hill. We were able to swim in the ocean and hangout with the Basin crew some more before we caught a 6am flight out of Boston back to Park City. Overall it was an amazing trip that was full of amazing rides and a fun crew to do it with. Below are some pictures of the trip and a few of Park City Training.
